They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulrico Herzog to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Renan Mendes however easily saved by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
