Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Barış Tahir having to make a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when - HULKAS - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Ko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Barış Tahir was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Tahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Barış Tahir. - HULKAS -'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Tahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced - HULKAS -'s goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Tahir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro scored 0-6 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Barış Tahir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Barış Tahir saved - HULKAS - from getting behind. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mustafa Barış Tahir came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in - HULKAS -'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Barış Tahir came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Barış Tahir. That made the score 0-10 after 63 minutes of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mustafa Barış Tahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Barış Tahir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Daniel Zorita had several of the - HULKAS -'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-15 score and a disappointed Mustafa Barış Tahir as he didn't even see the shot coming.
