Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Teobald Karanewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Teobald Karanewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathians's Alin Nichitelea. But to his dismay, Alin Nichitelea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Călin Ghioncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Karanewski in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Teobald Karanewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Călin Ghioncu made a huge save. After 28 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Ghioncu was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu got control of the ball when Santino Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 36th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Ghioncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of the match. With his leg Călin Ghioncu managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Cazimir Feteanu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Carpathians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Feteanu couldn't finish the play. After the first half Carpathians were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Alin Nichitelea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alin Nichitelea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 60th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpathians's Ercan Sabahaddin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-5 after 74 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 96th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Călin Ghioncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Ghioncu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Secada's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. After 96 minutes, Abram Secada made it 3-6 with a short kick to the right side. Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
