Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Almiron started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Almiron in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Peto came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Almiron's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Almiron in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Aquiles Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abram Luque during the 14th minute. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Sacro Balompié's Matias Maties made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Rubio's late challenge caught a Sacro Balompié's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. After 33 minutes, Miguel Almiron made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Peto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Almiron scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Miguel Almiron made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bieito in the 46th minute of play.

The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Almiron kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-7 in the 52 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Miguel Almiron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Marco Tamayo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Marco Tamayo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Peto took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Almiron in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Victorio Jax could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Aquiles Bieito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aquiles Bieito really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Sacro Balompié's Teobaldo Bernal was substituted for Aquiles Bieito. Matias Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Jeremias Gaueko scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 0-10. 77 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Maties. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 90th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Jeremias Gaueko made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Sacro Balompié played a much better game than El Salvador and deserved their victory. The El Salvador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
