Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xerardo Amer's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Xerardo Amer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerardo Amer in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oro Montes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oro Montes came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Xerardo Amer came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eufrasio Aranzubia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Eufrasio Aranzubia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerardo Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oro Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. Mateo Bastida kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Fuerzas Armadas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gustavo Buendia hit a great ball. Oro Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute Fuerzas Armadas were awarded a corner. Eufrasio Aranzubia went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oro Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oro Montes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Xerardo Amer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Fuerzas Armadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xerardo Amer couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Oro Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fuerzas Armadas's Oro Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Garrido was substituted for Xerardo Amer. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Eufrasio Aranzubia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
