Xerardo Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A hard shot 6 in the game by Xerardo Amer from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eufrasio Aranzubia was slow to take the kick. During this time Fuerzas Armadas's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eufrasio Aranzubia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Eufrasio Aranzubia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes in the game Urbasa Vazquez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elvio Rivas. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eufrasio Aranzubia. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Xerardo Amer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. When Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oro Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xerardo Amer took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Xerardo Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Amer in the 41st minute of play. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Fuerzas Armadas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fuerzas Armadas's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oro Montes came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaizkine Armada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerardo Amer in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Quinto Nobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oro Montes came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 64th minute. After 70 minutes, Mateo Bastida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fuerzas Armadas and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fuerzas Armadas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mateo Bastida hit a great ball. Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer suffered a concussion after 71 minutes and had to leave the field. After 71 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Fuerzas Armadas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fuerzas Armadas made a substitution. Coronel Garrido replaced Xerardo Amer. In the 72nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinto Nobo in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinto Nobo in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coronel Garrido in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Oro Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fuerzas Armadas's Oro Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Garrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense.
