Stowe City's Kaj Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Stroh came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaj Helström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Stroh came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kaj Helström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaj Helström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Peru booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathan Haynes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stowe City's Kaj Helström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nathaniel Orlinsky made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 39 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaj Helström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 42nd minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Stowe City defense, Eliseo Mina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaj Helström. The Stowe City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaj Helström should have stopped the shot. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 46th minute of play. Julian Murillo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stowe City's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Niles Crane made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Stowe City's Leo Bingham got a free kick in the 66th minute. Stowe City's Matt Briggs was substituted for Leo Bingham. Leo Bingham kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Nathaniel Orlinsky made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niles Crane in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niles Crane in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. In the 79th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaj Helström had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Julian Murillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 88 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Kaj Helström came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. İsmail Pekşen took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-9. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stowe City throughout the match.
