Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sacro Balompié's Laureano Artal. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Puig. 12 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Urbano Galsino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Urbano Galsino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 16th minute, Lautaro Puig fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 18 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Urbano Galsino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. 19 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sacro Balompié's Laureano Artal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hugo Ferrant made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sacro Balompié's Maximiliano Chepe. Maximiliano Chepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sacro Balompié's Urbano Galsino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Moruga made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sacro Balompié's Carlos Astrada. Sacro Balompié's Carlos Astrada quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 39th minute of the game. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Medero to strike the kick off in the second half. Sacro Balompié's Laureano Artal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 52 minute of the game. Hugo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Sacro Balompié's Jorge Udalaitz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 59 minute of the game. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Urbano Galsino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Galsino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Juan Rubio with Lautaro Puig as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sacro Balompié's attentive Carlos Astrada managed to snatch the ball when Abel Carballo made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Abel Carballo with Aaron Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Galsino having to interfere. Sacro Balompié's attentive Laureano Artal managed to snatch the ball when Abel Carballo made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Urbano Galsino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 97 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Galsino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Costa Rica were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sacro Balompié for a fine match.
