Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ivan Popete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Covrig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on PamantDeFlori's corner Mircea Siteavu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Popete. PamantDeFlori's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Marin Covrig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PamantDeFlori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 89th minute Remus Simionaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, PamantDeFlori's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ivan Popete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
