Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Niek Kiewit firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niek Kiewit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Niek Kiewit made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Overschie's Niek Kiewit managed to reach the ball for a save. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niek Kiewit having to make a save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Koning in the 19th minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 26th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Overschie's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Overschie's Niek Kiewit did a great save. In the 31st minute, Jorn Krommert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Joel Gaona fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niek Kiewit, passed just outside the right post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Bueno made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niek Kiewit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Niek Kiewit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Overschie's Niek Kiewit. Niek Kiewit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Niek Kiewit. Overschie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Bueno's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Overschie's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Niek Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daan Paauwe's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daan Paauwe helped the player get up and apologised. Daan Paauwe hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Niek Kiewit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niek Kiewit. Overschie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Overschie's Daan Paauwe got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ivo Bosz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play forced Overschie's goalkeeper Niek Kiewit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 92 played minutes Overschie got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein Hindriks. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niek Kiewit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Overschie's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
