Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 13th minute. Sabin Pânzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sabin Pânzaru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sabin Pânzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sabin Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
