Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Man Tas. In the 7th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grady Beckman to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Elizardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bogumil Spychalski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Spychalski couldn't finish the play. If Henning Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Man Tas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 32nd minute of play. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalie prevented a goal. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Man Tas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. Efraim Gilabert made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Herrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Henning Martinsson. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogumil Spychalski was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarmiento de Resistencia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bogumil Spychalski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Peru booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sarmiento de Resistencia made a substitution. Alonzo Peruxu replaced Bogumil Spychalski. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Elizardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alex Herrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Herrero in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 89 minutes into the game, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 94 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
