Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Vänge IF's Bruno Giordani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ciriaco Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Markel. 7 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes Vänge IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciriaco Hernando quite easily take care of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Hernando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Hernando saved Vänge IF from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Arrigo Di Mattia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Giordani in the 27th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mauro Otsoa sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ciriaco Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Östen Olsson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Hernando. Ciriaco Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Bruno Giordani struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge IF. With a little luck, Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciriaco Hernando, 0-2. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Östen Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciriaco Hernando. Vänge IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciriaco Hernando made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 80th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Hernando made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Vänge IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
