The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Kadri Toralp got free with Marco Day in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ionel Zamfirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ionel Zamfirescu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 43rd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Zamfirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR.
