Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Achille Molinaro got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignaz Ecke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eraldo Cannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Cannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Achille Molinaro got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luponero FC's Ignaz Ecke in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignaz Ecke in the 23rd minute of play. Eraldo Cannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Achille Molinaro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Luponero FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Cannone came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Luponero FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Ascani. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Roman Kon got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eraldo Cannone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Achille Molinaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save.

After a defensive mix-up in Luponero FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Cannone came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eraldo Cannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Ignaz Ecke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignaz Ecke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 58th minute Achille Molinaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eraldo Cannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Ignaz Ecke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Achille Molinaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achille Molinaro in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Luponero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Molinaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignaz Ecke in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Ignaz Ecke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luponero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 96th minute of the match Luponero FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roman Kon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Luponero FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
