Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. György Gömöri started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 5 in the game by Ferenc Fülöp from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. The Gelse fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Gelse's Ferenc Fülöp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 12 played minutes Gelse got a freekick which was hit by Károly Pölöskei. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gelse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Károly Pölöskei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mátyás Horváth skillfully saved the ball. György Gömöri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Gelse's Jacobo Nores threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from György Gömöri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 19 minutes, Ferenc Fülöp made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferenc Fülöp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mátyás Horváth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gelse booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. When György Gömöri came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gelse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that György Gömöri couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Ferenc Fülöp lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jacobo Nores. The audience was convinced that György Gömöri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferenc Fülöp in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of György Gömöri's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelse the free kick. In the 57th minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. György Gömöri succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. 64 minutes into the game, György Gömöri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. György Gömöri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 68 minutes in the game, Jaime Pardo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mátyás Horváth having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gelse's Ferenc Fülöp in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal.
