Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when György Gömöri kicked off to start the match. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gelse's Ferenc Fülöp. But to his dismay, Ferenc Fülöp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 9th minute György Gömöri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. György Gömöri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferenc Fülöp in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 18th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Gelse's Ferenc Fülöp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. György Gömöri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. If Károly Pölöskei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Lajos Major took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. György Gömöri scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferenc Fülöp. 44 minutes into the game, Marco Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelse the free kick. In the 44th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes in the game, György Gömöri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Gömöri in the 47th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, György Gömöri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Gömöri in the 57th minute of play. Károly Pölöskei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ferenc Fülöp put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. 68 minutes into the game, Károly Pölöskei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 minutes, György Gömöri made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Gömöri in the 82nd minute of the match. When Gelse's Ferenc Fülöp in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Gelse's Ferenc Fülöp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gelse fully deserved thier win.
