When Ondrej Poliovka came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the ŠK Horelica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ondrej Poliovka couldn't finish the play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The long shot by Filip Seman in the 6th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gabriel Černoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes, Stanislav Hudek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ŠK Horelica and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Černoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Filip Seman managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŠK Horelica's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Seman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ondrej Poliovka got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ŠK Horelica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Seman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ondrej Poliovka in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gabriel Černoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 55th minute, Ibai Koldobika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ŠK Horelica's Ondrej Poliovka got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ondrej Poliovka in the 70th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ondrej Poliovka, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. ŠK Horelica made a substitution. Sabino Monsanto replaced Wu Zhen. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to a score. 1-2 in the 75th minute. In the 80th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. ŠK Horelica's Qi Bing Zhi was substituted for Ondrej Poliovka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Gabriel Černoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of ŠK Horelica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. After 96 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. A nice corner shot did that Filip Seman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
