Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bonggo Bawono started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Corrado Zinni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Corrado Zinni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 7th minute of play forced Madrid City FC's goalkeeper Alex Brunov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pasha Jayusman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Brunov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonggo Bawono in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonggo Bawono kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Bonggo Bawono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bonggo Bawono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 46 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Madrid City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Bonggo Bawono struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrid City FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Madrid City FC's Corrado Zinni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bonggo Bawono took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bonggo Bawono scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonggo Bawono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Brunov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonggo Bawono, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Madrid City FC's Ilham Prabowo was substituted for Winarto Rahardjo. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonggo Bawono in the 86th minute of the match. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Parco hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
