When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Ruiz made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Romino couldn't finish the play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Gregorio Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Çağrı Baykır in the 81st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute AYYILDIZ were awarded a corner. Alp Arslan went to the cornerflag to take it. AYYILDIZ's Ali Nejat Atay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rdth minute of the game Antonio Romino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AYYILDIZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alp Arslan in the 84th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ali Nejat Atay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Romino in the 91st minute of the match. Göktürk Semin made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Marco Baker sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AYYILDIZ throughout the match.
