The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslaw Michna was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Miroslaw Michna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Duck-Net getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Laurits Krummel hit a great ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asker Stube in the 15th minute of play. Miroslaw Michna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Michna having to interfere. In the 21st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Michna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asker Stube, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute FC Duck-Net were awarded a corner. Tuur Huijbrechts went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute, Hans Fahler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Duck-Net fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Duck-Net's Asker Stube got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ruben Depoorter charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Depoorter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miroslaw Michna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC Duck-Net's Miroslaw Michna managed to reach the ball for a save. When Dionisio Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Duck-Net fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Nesto couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, FC Duck-Net's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Miroslaw Michna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes FC Duck-Net got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Depoorter. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Michna having to interfere. If Cristian Felbek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Miroslaw Michna in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes FC Duck-Net's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Juan Sebastián Puig got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Duck-Net's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Michna came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 played minutes FC Duck-Net got a freekick which was hit by Asker Stube. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Miroslaw Michna made a huge save. Ruben Depoorter kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Miroslaw Michna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 93 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Duck-Net's Ruben Depoorter got a free kick in the 95th minute. The FC Duck-Net fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
