Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niceto Virila, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Nemesio Meder in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. In the 19th minute, Edmundo Espiga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niceto Virila, passed just outside the right post. After 26 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sancho. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Niceto Virila made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila got control of the ball when Luca Espinar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliberto Ramirez charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Ramirez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Nuevo Horizonte got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Ramirez. After a defensive mix-up in Nuevo Horizonte's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Virila came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 40th minute. Niceto Virila was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 45th minute, Leo Rutenio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Lapurdi made a kick off. Niceto Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Espinar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 62 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes in the game David Gagriel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nemesio Meder. After some careless play in the Nuevo Horizonte defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Virila. The Nuevo Horizonte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Virila should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Niceto Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 76th minute of play. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Nemesio Meder made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Niceto Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, David Gagriel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Niceto Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
