Primitivo Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remo de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes in the game, Jaime Pardo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Remo de Toledo having to interfere. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Oliveira in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute Oswaldo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match TRAKINAS FC got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Régis Guimarães ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paraguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Pardo in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Pardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remo de Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remo de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oswaldo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 29th minute Oswaldo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Alan Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the TRAKINAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Paraguay booed when TRAKINAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Alagoano in the 55th minute of the match. Remo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 58th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-5 after 71 minutes of play. In the 82nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Oswaldo Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TRAKINAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 85 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by David Neiva. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Reinaldo Alagoano from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Jacobo Nores's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Oswaldo Matos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Nores was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oswaldo Matos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 94 minutes into the match. The Paraguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TRAKINAS FC's performance. The match ended with a win for TRAKINAS FC.
