El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Severo in the 15th minute of play. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Céleste in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matías Domingues. Matías Domingues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fernandinho Rodrigues scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. Fernandinho Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Gabriel Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Tostão Céleste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. BlacK & BlueS's Ernani Brito was substituted for Fernandinho Rodrigues. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BlacK & BlueS were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. Ernani Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Gabriel Severo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of El Salvador booed when BlacK & BlueS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Brito in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ernani Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Severo. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 79th minute. El Salvador's Luis Rubio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rony Braga, made in the 82nd minute of the game. A collision led to BlacK & BlueS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rony Braga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Céleste in the 85th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Ernani Brito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-4. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
