Ruzgar Gibi Geçti were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rómeó Julia took the corner. The corner ended in Kaptan Tevfik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Ruth in the 16th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sikstas Ferdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute. Sikstas Ferdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Rómeó Julia in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 30th minute, Rómeó Julia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Ruzgar Gibi Geçti got a freekick which was hit by Rómeó Julia. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milagros Fraga however managed to control. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Ray Ruth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play forced Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's goalkeeper Sikstas Ferdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Sikstas Ferdi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Sikstas Ferdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sikstas Ferdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Ray Ruth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sikstas Ferdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Ali Emir Berksoy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ali Emir Berksoy really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 77th match minute, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rómeó Julia to maneuver through the defense. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Sikstas Ferdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 78th minute of play. Sikstas Ferdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sikstas Ferdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sikstas Ferdi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After some careless play in the Ruzgar Gibi Geçti defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sikstas Ferdi. The Ruzgar Gibi Geçti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sikstas Ferdi should have stopped the shot. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
