Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edward Mcdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Ghioncu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Călin Ghioncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of the match. Călin Ghioncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Călin Ghioncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Ghioncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 20th minute of play. Stefan Dobay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A nice corner shot did that Connor Hughes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobald Karanewski in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Călin Ghioncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Cassius Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Călin Ghioncu. Carpathians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Călin Ghioncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Dobay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stefan Dobay hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Călin Ghioncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carpathians made a substitution. Troizen Giannakopoulos replaced Laurențiu Iurea. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Teobald Karanewski made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Călin Ghioncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Dobay in the 55th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jacob May had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Karanewski in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match USA got a corner. Carpathians's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Cassius Byrne fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Călin Ghioncu quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Ciurea in the 67th minute of play. Stefan Dobay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Carpathians booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. Connor Hughes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Dobay in the 76th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Ciurea came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Sam Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Carpathians fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
