Fabrizio Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ferruccio Massimi, made in the 16th minute of the game. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riccardo & Erika's goalie prevented a goal. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Zoff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Beppe Riccardi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Beppe Riccardi sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Ocampo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabrizio Zoff. Riccardo & Erika's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Riccardo & Erika's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrea Orecchioni in the 41st minute. Sebastian Villa's late challenge caught a Riccardo & Erika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Villa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Beppe Riccardi made the kick off in the second half. Ferruccio Massimi made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Zoff was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. With his leg Fabrizio Zoff managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 54 played minutes Riccardo & Erika got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Orecchioni. Andrea Orecchioni's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Oddi in the 62nd minute of play. Ferruccio Massimi made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andrea Orecchioni immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Riccardo & Erika's Andrea Orecchioni got a free kick in the 65th minute. A hard shot 66 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Fabrizio Zoff managed to make a qualified save. Riccardo & Erika's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Oddi in the 68th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riccardo & Erika's Fabrizio Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrizio Zoff came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Beppe Riccardi scored 3-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Riccardi came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 96th minute. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
