The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, 狄扬钢 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and 狄扬钢 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of 崔浩德 when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
