Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakan Derim in the 4th minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hızır Türkoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hakan Derim took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. When Panama's Abraham Alguacil in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ST Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 23rd minute of the match, Hakan Derim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Hakan Derim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürel Kamver's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürel Kamver helped the player get up and apologised. Gürel Kamver hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Hakan Derim sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Özdemir Kutlualp came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özdemir Kutlualp to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When ST Lions FC's Hakan Derim in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by ST Lions FC's Hakan Derim. But to his dismay, Hakan Derim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. Hakan Derim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, ST Lions FC's Erman Durkaya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ST Lions FC reached it. In the 79th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hızır Türkoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Hakan Derim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hızır Türkoğlu in the 87th minute of play. Binali Bakır charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Binali Bakır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ST Lions FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Binali Bakır hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Hakan Derim notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Panama's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Panama may have spent more time on the ball, but ST Lions FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
