Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kazimierz Birkenhagen made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent off a good shot on target. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to NDVX getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mauro lago hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Du, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Du came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bento in the 37th minute of the match. The corner ended in Dominik Pietrasz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kazimierz Birkenhagen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Du threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Du was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlos Bento struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NDVX. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Du. NDVX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Du firmly grabbed it by the left post. Du took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kazimierz Birkenhagen hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. NDVX's Carlos Bento got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazimierz Birkenhagen's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
