Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Percha in the 8th minute of the match. Robert Percha took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Edward Mcdonald reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şemsettin Tuyuğ. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob May in the 22nd minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob May got free with Şemsettin Tuyuğ in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Percha in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute of play. Romeo Bâru kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Şemsettin Tuyuğ in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Percha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when KOCAELİSPOR's Robert Percha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 67th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after KOCAELİSPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Monty Rogers took the corner. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 73rd minute of play. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Zabit came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
