When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Boruc Mierzwa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Boruc Mierzwa sent off a good shot on target. Bernt Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. Luca Zorita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as 3City United's Boguslaw Marczyniec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. The supporters of 3City United booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Boguslaw Marczyniec sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to 3City United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wasyl Szotek hit a great ball. 3City United's Bernt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes 3City United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. 39 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bernt Ånger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

3City United's Bernt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. Bernt Ånger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute. The supporters of 3City United booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wasyl Szotek's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Szotek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 3City United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wasyl Szotek hit a great ball. Bernt Ånger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute. In the 64th match minute, 3City United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Mierzwa to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 68th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Cadaval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernt Ånger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 3City United's Bernt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 3City United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
