Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Mexico's Alberto Tafalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 11th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Roux came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Nolan Roux tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Law, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Le Stade Briochin UC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lev Yashin. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lev Yashin should have stopped the shot. Nolan Roux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Jaime Tabor made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Zorita in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Yashin saved Le Stade Briochin UC from getting behind. Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Dimitri Nedellec replaced Nolan Roux. In the 48th minute, Dimitri Nedellec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Tabor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Yashin having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Verrecchia in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Lev Yashin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lev Yashin. The goal made the score 2-2. 86 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Nedellec came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clovis Janvier to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
