But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Bad Harzburg's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacek Matuch having to make a save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Matuch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Casaus made a kick off. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Covaci in the 55th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Covaci came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner. Jurek Ohrem went to the cornerflag to take it. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Loi in the 63rd minute of play.
