In the 14th minute, Peru's Luz Tejedor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacek Matuch. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Silvestre Loi might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestre Loi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Mathias Schulten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacek Matuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Éthan Pichard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 2-1. Patrick Josselin made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Moises Gayoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Patrick Josselin got a free kick in the 84th minute. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. 90 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after SV Bad Harzburg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacek Matuch quite easily take care of the ball. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SV Bad Harzburg for a fine match.
