Riemer Ax hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, William Westelinx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when William Westelinx sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Vereijt. Rene Vereijt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The FC Ouagadougou National players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Raphael Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match.
