Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A hard shot by Milosz Solecki from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a MDS Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. MDS Soccer Club's Milosz Solecki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Lukasz Gmoch scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Lukasz Gmoch sent off a good shot on target. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zheng Di Xi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Zheng Di Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Cearense in the 51st minute of the match. Erivaldo Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Zheng Di Xi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zheng Di Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Brasil to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zheng Di Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Lukasz Gmoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Fernando Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDS Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. 83 minutes into the game, MDS Soccer Club's Lukasz Gmoch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 86th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zheng Di Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play MDS Soccer Club's Fernando Jacinto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st minute, Fernando Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MDS Soccer Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
