He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 28th minute, Sören Gregersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sören Gregersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Carl Kalfhage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The INIXET BK fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when INIXET BK's Carl Kalfhage looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carl Kalfhage showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. Carl Kalfhage might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Kalfhage ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peder Alström to make the kick off. Carl Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Peder Alström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peder Alström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 64th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Carl Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot. INIXET BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Kalfhage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Alström came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jose Correa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Näver was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Oscar Hääger struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INIXET BK. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Tom Lövgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INIXET BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Lövgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Alström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Gregersson succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for INIXET BK.
