Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 8th minute of play. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. William Westelinx in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Day, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 11 minutes in the game, William Westelinx dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. William Westelinx struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ouagadougou National. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of play. When William Westelinx came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Ouagadougou National fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Westelinx couldn't finish the play. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 26th minute of play. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and William Westelinx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Westelinx really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Koby Fletcher hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rene Vereijt had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Cassius Byrne's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Sam Campbell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rene Vereijt. Sam Campbell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ouagadougou National's zone, Jenson Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Vereijt came out of the goal and Jenson Smith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in USA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Marco Day had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping German Bernebe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. German Bernebe did an outstanding performance 92 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated Marco Day in the goal. Riemer Ax kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Riemer Ax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes in the game Jenson Smith got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The FC Ouagadougou National players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
