An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 25th minute of play forced A & B United FC's goalkeeper Sven Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Curacao's Kyle Davies tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jan-Olof Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Olof Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Stanley Wallace ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Svensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Curacao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, A & B United FC's goalkeeper Sven Svensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. The Curacao supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Curacao would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
