Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zheng Di Xi having to interfere. Ramón Brodel's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of MDS Soccer Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. The referee gave Uruguay a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaime Cazalla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi. 0-1. After 11 minutes, Camilo Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the MDS Soccer Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zheng Di Xi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Franco in the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Erivaldo Severo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Lukasz Gmoch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Zheng Di Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Ramón Brodel thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Zheng Di Xi, a very annoying self made goal in the 33rd minute which led to 2-2. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. After 37 minutes, Lukasz Gmoch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MDS Soccer Club and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Lukasz Gmoch got a free kick in the 37th minute. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Uruguay's Fernando Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Lukasz Gmoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Armandinho Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDS Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Armandinho Brasil got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fernando Zorita made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Lukasz Gmoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Sainz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Sainz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Armandinho Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. 73 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Zorita. Lukasz Gmoch struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDS Soccer Club. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erivaldo Severo went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Lukasz Gmoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Erivaldo Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDS Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-3. After 94 minutes, Lukasz Gmoch made it 7-3 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukasz Gmoch in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but MDS Soccer Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
