Julio Vera was a little too slow when Boruc Niewiadomski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Maju in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Zawaski having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Boruc Niewiadomski sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Maju, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Stefan Zawaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. After 36 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Olo Pan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Czarni Kozłowa Góra's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boruc Niewiadomski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute of the match Czarni Kozłowa Góra got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulryk Miodek ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 46 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Zawaski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Zawaski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Czarni Kozłowa Góra's Boruc Niewiadomski. But to his dismay, Boruc Niewiadomski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Czarni Kozłowa Góra's Stefan Zawaski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Czarni Kozłowa Góra from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Niewiadomski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulryk Miodek was slow to take the kick. During this time Czarni Kozłowa Góra's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Czarni Kozłowa Góra's Zdzislaw Pusiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Niewiadomski in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Zawaski. Czarni Kozłowa Góra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Niewiadomski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Pusiak in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Czarni Kozłowa Góra booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boruc Niewiadomski charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boruc Niewiadomski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Czarni Kozłowa Góra got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Niewiadomski. The Czarni Kozłowa Góra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
