Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaut Bernadet in the 17th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Melvin Passemard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melvin Passemard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of the match. Melvin Passemard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. After 30 played minutes corsaire nantais got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Siggman. 35 minutes into the match, corsaire nantais's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Melvin Passemard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after corsaire nantais's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Melvin Passemard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by corsaire nantais's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luca Zorita got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 41 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Melvin Passemard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 46th minute, corsaire nantais's Thibaut Bernadet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melvin Passemard having to interfere. corsaire nantais's Melvin Passemard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save corsaire nantais from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Fuchs in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mamadou Clermont who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Yves Fuchs heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Xie Yuan Jun's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xie Yuan Jun helped the player get up and apologised. Xie Yuan Jun kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Melvin Passemard made a huge save. Tobias Siggman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Melvin Passemard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mexico played a much better game than corsaire nantais and deserved their victory. The corsaire nantais players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
