The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 毛明昆 during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by 毛明昆. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qu Wei in the 13th minute of play. 毛明昆's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Proteu's Ulysses Donato got control of the ball when Hector Covarrubias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Qu Wei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Proteu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ulysses Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. In the 31st minute, 毛明昆 made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 33 minutes into the game, Qu Wei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Proteu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. Qu Wei kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Qu Wei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Qu Wei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Proteu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qu Wei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 毛明昆 went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Qu Wei made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

毛明昆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qu Wei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 毛明昆's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Denílson Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 毛明昆 in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 68th minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Proteu were awarded a corner. Tercero Segundo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tercero Segundo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacobo Nores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 71st minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, 毛明昆 took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Paraguay's Alan Campos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tercero Segundo, made in the 84th minute of the game. Denílson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Qu Wei came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Proteu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qu Wei couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The Proteu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
