Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Francisco Conceicão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandrie CF's Silvestre Perrando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 7th minute of the game. The supporters of Colombia booed when Alexandrie CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Gosse hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Francisco Conceicão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Francisco Conceicão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pascual Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Brandin having to interfere. The supporters of Colombia booed when Alexandrie CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ruslan Tikhonov hit a great ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Isaac Andrews tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Isaac Andrews lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Pedro Manzanares. If Francisco Conceicão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wang Guang Chuan got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthias Brandin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Guang Chuan in the 39th minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthias Brandin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Conceicão to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Francisco Conceicão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandrie CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Isaac Andrews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's Francisco Conceicão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruslan Tikhonov was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandrie CF's players had a chance to rest. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matthias Brandin came out and tried to block the shot, but Abram Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 68th minute. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Conceicão in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthias Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Fidel Domenech hit a great ball. Alexandrie CF made a substitution. André Franco replaced Francisco Conceicão. The supporters of Colombia booed when Alexandrie CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Domenech didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Matthias Brandin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Matthias Brandin was a little too slow when Ignacio Mastache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
