Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Misael Darroja in the 2nd minute. Latocayteva F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Federico Reyes in the 4th minute. Apolo Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Apolo Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Garay's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Garay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Goretzka in the 46th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Apolo Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Santino Seco made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Rius. Latocayteva F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Apolo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Misael Darroja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to Colombia's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Ezequiel Garay tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Pedro Manzanares seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. Latocayteva F.C. were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Federico Reyes took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Rius. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. Pascual Carballar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Apolo Rius made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Misael Darroja in the 68th minute of play. Latocayteva F.C.'s Lukasz Dziedelonis was substituted for Koulis Kostakoglou. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Misael Darroja came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Misael Darroja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tony Soprano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Abram Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Apolo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Latocayteva F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Rius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Apolo Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Latocayteva F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ezequiel Garay hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Latocayteva F.C.'s Gatot Berlioz got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes in the game Maurino Montiel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ezequiel Garay. Misael Darroja took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
