Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaw Pawelczyk in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 10 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Mcdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rastislav Duch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Pawelczyk in the 18th minute of play. Feyenoord Malinovo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Németh in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Igor Gašpar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Németh in the 33rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Duch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Rastislav Duch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 52nd minute of play forced Feyenoord Malinovo's goalkeeper Rastislav Duch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Feyenoord Malinovo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. When Dávid Mojžiš came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Feyenoord Malinovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dávid Mojžiš couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Cassius Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Rastislav Duch. Feyenoord Malinovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Feyenoord Malinovo's Dávid Zachar was substituted for Erik Nálepka. Rastislav Duch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Feyenoord Malinovo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monty Rogers was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. 74 minutes into the match, Feyenoord Malinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Rastislav Duch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes Feyenoord Malinovo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Monty Rogers who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jenson Smith almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Feyenoord Malinovo's Rastislav Duch did a great save. Rastislav Duch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of play. USA were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Feyenoord Malinovo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the USA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
