In the 10th minute Cyprian Rekowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Adam Matysek. FC Gdansk36's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Rekowski in the 26th minute of the match. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gdansk36's Cyprian Rekowski. But to his dismay, Cyprian Rekowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Rekowski in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Fafinski to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Rekowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 62nd minute of the match FC Gdansk36 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iggi Kot ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Rekowski in the 72nd minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iggi Kot in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski was substituted for Cyprian Rekowski. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 95th minute. Iggi Kot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
