Geo-Winner's Cesar Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maksim Dunaevskiy struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geo-Winner. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Sergey Sabadash showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergey Sabadash saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Geo-Winner got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Bochinski. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergey Sabadash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergey Sabadash showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergey Sabadash having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Rioja in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geo-Winner's Sergey Sabadash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Rioja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Cesar Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Cesar Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sergey Sabadash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Geo-Winner's goalkeeper Sergey Sabadash, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Arias during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Geo-Winner booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes Veniamin Gorshkov shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Julio Vera when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Primitivo Andino made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Agustín Saelices however managed to control. Rostislav Kravets might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rostislav Kravets ran back to his position shaking his head. After 78 minutes Geo-Winner's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sergey Sabadash in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rostislav Kravets hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Geo-Winner's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergey Sabadash came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sergey Sabadash made a huge save. The supporters of Geo-Winner booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Petr Klimovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Petr Klimovskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geo-Winner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Geo-Winner had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
