Purcaresti CSS's Ştefan Vârlan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 12 minute of the game. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 19 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Paul Drăgan managed to make a qualified save. Purcaresti CSS's players were relieved. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Paul Drăgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Carballo made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. Purcaresti CSS's Marius Timaru quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 40 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mădălin Bălan to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Drăgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 53rd minute of play. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 57 minutes, Constantin Negru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purcaresti CSS and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Costică Pacurar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Purcaresti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Pacurar couldn't finish the play. Hugo Ferrant made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Purcaresti CSS's Marius Timaru. After 74 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Drăgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Paul Drăgan. Purcaresti CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 81 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purcaresti CSS the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Aaron Alcocer with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 87 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Drăgan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Ferrant made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Purcaresti CSS's Marius Timaru. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Purcaresti CSS's Constantin Negru. 93 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Drăgan. Purcaresti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Drăgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
